Somewhere off the coast of Shanghai lie the beautiful islands of Gouqi and Shengshan. I had the chance to visit these two remote gems and write about the experience for the Shanghai Daily.

From pioneering research to medical breakthroughs, it has been an honour to contribute to the annual publication of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Stellenbosch University.

At Stellenbosch University, we had a student newspaper called The Matie. I covered campus news and cultural events for the paper while studying.

As a student, I wrote for the local community newspaper in Stellenbosch. The Eikestadnuus was a bilingual newspaper and I covered stories in both English and Afrikaans.

For the annual Woordfees newspaper LIP, I collaborated with the Ellen Agnew to create the cover of the 10th edition — which was inspired by Mary Sibande’s exhibition, The Purple Shall Govern.
